Int: Mark's room. Day
Marks praying to the Koran
Then gets up and puts on his bag
Ext: Street. Day
Mark walks down the street, then Mark sees Frankie (Stranger) walking down the same road.
Frankie looks at Mark and crosses to the other side of the street to avoid him.
Mark (voice over in his head of Stepan); "For you country Mark, Down with the West!"
Int: Flashback. Day
Mark is given a gun by Stepan.
Ext: Street. Day
Mark wipes his forehead and looks nervous, he carries on walking and then takes out his phone.
Mark talks Arabic to Stepan.
Anthony (extra) walks past Mark gives him dirty looks.
Ext: Street. Day
Mark arrives at the station, looks up at the station sign and has a flash back.
Int: Flashback. Day
Stepan (elder Arab) has Mark up against the wall.
Mark is scared
Ext: Station. Day
Flashback angers Mark.
Mark waits for a train, Train pulls up and in the distance you can hear sirens.
Doors open, Mark steps foreword, then a mysterious hand grabs his shoulder.
Tableau: Three years earlier.
Commentary:
In our first draft, we had various p.o.v shots where you were able to hear the thoughts of the charter but we felt that it may of been too confusing to the viewers. Also the shots of the extra running down the alleyway was too long and unnecessary. Overall we are confident that our final script is for us to start filming.
